TBpeople is a Global network of people affected by tuberculosis. TBpeople was launched on 20th of June 2016 in Bratislava at the Regional Workshop on TB Community Mobilization, which the Stop TB Partnership organized in collaboration with RESULTS UK and TB Europe Coalition and with the support of USAID and the Global Fund.

 

The vision of TBpeople is a world free of tuberculosis. The Network’s mission is to unite people and defeat tuberculosis. It is an individual membership-based organization. TBpeople was launched by 20 people, first as an East European and Central Asian network and then expanded to become a global network registered in the United Kingdom. To improve linkages with grassroots community and to bridge a language gap, TBPEOPLE introduced a country representation model, with chapters already operating in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Philippines - and more being created in Africa and Asia.
